The Mailing Center, Inc.

InkJet Addressing/ Barcoding:

The Mailing Center employs two Kirk Rudy InkJet systems; the HP technology based W'inkJet and the all new Wavejet. We are now capable of printing terrific looking text, graphics and barcodes on almost any substrate, including aqueous, some UV, plastics and even foils! Take advantage of multiple fonts within a text box, font and barcode rotation as well as spot color taglines on the Winkjet for great eye catching mailpieces. Integrated variable speed conveyors, the Kirk Rudy 496F friction feeder and the ability to print on almost any substrate at production speeds equate to increased production and decreased turnaround times!

Tabbing/ Labeling/ Stamp Affixing:

We have two Kirk Rudy 535 Tabmaster tabbers. One is equipped with both a wide label kit for high speed affixing of fan-fold style self adhesive labels as well as a bump turn kit. Whether placed in line behind one of our inkjets or stand alone, both are capable of affixing self adhesive stamps, tabs, specialty labels or post it notes at speeds of up to 25,000 pph. With the USPS mandating that all "booklet" style self-mailers now be closed with 1.5" clear labels on separate ends of the mailpiece, our Kirk Rudy 730 right angle registration table makes the addressing, barcoding, and tabbing process a breeze!

Machine Inserting:

Both our Mailcrafters 9800 series inserter as well as our Bell & Howell Imperial 10000 inserter are 6 station, turn-over style swing arm inserters. Utilizing our Sure-Feed friction feeders, a Pitney Bowes R150 meter base and Postmatic 6000 stamp affixer, both inserters are capable of inserting difficult material while affixing "live stamps" all in one pass. The newer Mailcrafters machine is also set up with an electronic "toggle" feature further reducing stoppage time and increasing productivity.

Finishing:

Our MBO T49 pile fed folder with 8 page right angle unit gives us the ability to fold, perf, slit and score sheets up to 26" x 14". The micro perforating kit lets us print, perf and fold beautiful looking statements, renewals, and appeal letters. The edge trim attachment allows us to print, fold and trim nested letters without hand nesting one into the other. The Kirk Rudy tabbers can even be placed in line! Has the printer ever used the excuse, "your material is printed but our folder is backed up a few days..."? Ask us, we may be able to help out.
